The kitten is sold as pet. This kitten is not to be shown without the express permission of the Bird & I unless kitty is shown in Household Pets
The Buyer promises to provide responsible care for the kitten or cat and the said kitten or cat is an indoors only cat. The Buyer promises to notify the Breeder should the cat/kitten be resold or given away. Breeder's guarantee applies only to the original buyer of the kitten/cat.
Under no circumstances should the cat/kitten be resold, or leased to a pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility.
Kitten comes with a care package which will include care instructions, health record, sample food and other items as illustrated in our care package on our site.
Breeder agrees to deliver the kitten's registration papers to Buyer within 90 days of contract being signed or kitten handed over
The Buyer has 72 hours to return cat/kitten at Buyer's expense, if not verified healthy by a veterinarian. Kiten/Cat must be isolated from all other animals during the first 72 hours.
Breeder's instructions for reccommended care of cat/kitten must be followed. It is recommended that a complete examination by a licensed veterinarian, during the first 72 hours of receiving cat/kitten. Veterinary expenses incurred after cat/kitten leaves the cattery are the sole responsibility of the Buyer
Breeder guarantees the kitten against life threatening genetic defects for one year. Should the kitten be diagnosed with a life threatening genetic defect, the Breeder will replace with a kitten of similar quality when it is available
All kittens/cats shipped arrive with certificate of health. Health certificate, tests, rabies vaccine and shipping expenses are the purchasers responsibility. Breeder guarantees the kitten is from a FELV/FIV negative cattery. All breeding cats have been DNA PKD tested and certified negative and have been screened for FIP. However research in these areas and tests to ascertain them are still in the pioneering stage, this does not constitute a guarantee by the Breeder
PKD DNA negative certificates of parents or PKD scanned negative certificates of grandparents will be provided with the kitty
Should the cat/kiten become ill or die, a licensed veterinarian's report and an autopsy report, proving the cause of such illnesss or death originated at the Bird & I will be required before adjustments will be made. This is limited to the original Buyer of the kitten/cat
The Bird & I is free of ringworm, fleas, mites and ear mites but while breeder will do utmost to make sure kitten/cat is delivered in such condition, this is not a guarantee .
